Peter Burke: Flights

ANDIPA presents Flights, a new body of sculptures, drawings and collages by acclaimed British sculptor Peter Burke, with works available for acquisition. 

Coinciding with Burke's exhibition at the Royal West of England Academy, which runs until 30 August 2026, Flights brings together 27 new works alongside a selection of earlier pieces. This new collection explores the symbolism of the staircase, transforming an everyday architectural structure into a contemplative form reflecting ascent, journeys and transition. Visitors are warmly invited to request prices and availability, arrange a private viewing, or visit Andipa's Knightsbridge gallery.

Working in cast iron and steel, Peter Burke trained as a jig and tool designer with Rolls-Royce. He has since developed a distinctive sculptural practice that combines engineering precision with an exploration of the human form, condition and built environment. Across a career spanning six decades, Burke has created a singular visual language in which process and construction remain visible, establishing him as a compelling figure in contemporary British sculpture.
